Gordie`s Hamburger in Chatan-cho

I meant to take a picture but as soon as the food hit the table it's time on this earth was limited. I had the pineapple bacon burger. It came out hot and fresh. The meat was cooked perfectly and the grilled pineapple added a nice sweetness with the saltiness of the bacon. I highly recommend Gordie's. I'll be back for sure.

Teriyaki egg burger

One of the best burgers I have ever had. Solid music/atmosphere.

The staff was great, really good and friendly customer service. Food came out quickly after we ordered. The cheeseburgers though, weren't good.

Amazing burgers! Everything we ordered (burgers, CKN sandwiches, fries, milk shakes, onion rings) was delicious, and so fresh! Lots of seating and great customer service. Highly recommend for families or larger groups. Cash only.

Cash only so keep that in mind before going. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, the atmosphere is very relaxed, it’s a good place for families to eat. They have their own parking area which is really nice. The burgers are probably the best I’ve had since being in Okinawa and I will definitely be going back! Also they do to go orders which is super nice!

Came at noon, so place was busy. Parking can be a pain. Street was full so we used parking lot and double parked. Had to move to let someone else out, luckily we had a long wait, so we didn't get in yet. Waiting area was outside. Hot and humid day, but portion of the area had a fan. Not the cleanest outside area, dead roaches laying around (3). At least only on the outside. Inside smells of cooking hamburgers. Good American rock music playing at a low volume. We got the double and regular hamburgers. Staff was smiling and friendly even with the hot kitchen and lots of customers. Accept cash and credit cards. Fries and sandwich were nice and hot. Good buns and good size meat paddies, but a little salty.

has to be one of the best burgers on the planet( and I'm a fat man thats had lots of burgers in lots of places) American-esc atmosphere with a great staff. forget the people saying it's " touristy" if you're in Okinawa go

It's always a great experience eating at Gordie's. One of the best place for burgers in Okinawa. I love their pickles. The staff is very friendly and inviting. I had a chance to try their new potato chips, it's great. Can't wait to go pick up a bag of Gordie's Double Cheese Burger potato chips at Family Mart.

Luckily Gordies is a walk down the street from me. If I am feeling lazy I will swing by and grab a burger. The burgers are seasoned well and I never had an issue with them being over cooked. They freshly bake their buns everyday too! The classic style of the restaurant brings out a pleasant vibe. The food is good priced.

Very delicious! A little bit pricey, but one of the top 5 burgers on island. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The Japanese cook with the tattoos is also very nice, made me feel like a regular even though I’d only been there three times.

This double meat chili cheeseburger was FAT. It was juicy and rich with flavor. This man got their burgers down good. The staff was great and so was the design of the restaurant.

Honestly surprised by the high reviews. Not a fan of the meat at all and I wasn’t impressed with the fries. Would definitely choose several other burger joints in the area before returning here.

Hilarious, quirky surroundings - a total gem, though, with great food and staff. Well worth getting off the beaten path to find this. Just be sure to park in the designated spots.

It’s a bit over priced for the quality of the food. I got the cheeseburger and the meat didn’t have a lot of flavor the bread was good, the fries were ok but there was only like 8 of them. The service was good but if you’re looking for a good cheeseburger this might not be the place.

Was here 5 years ago and this is one of the restaurants that haven’t changed. Absolutely love their burgers, especially the pineapple burger.

The hamburger meat was weird and I wouldn't order another one. The menu's need to be replaced. The onion rings were amazing and I would go back for more. The staff were friendly. The decor was great and the bathroom was clean.

Let me preface this with the fact that I very rarely write Google reviews. But this place... knocked it strait out of the ballpark so to speak. The staff were kind, warm, friendly and accommodating. I compared tattoos with our waiter who had some amazing Traditonal Japanese sleeve tattoos! The staff at Gordies made my wife and I feel welcome and happy to dine there. I recommend the "Specialty Burger" it's massive and tasty as could be! The burger was cooked just right and piled high with an egg, two MASSIVE strips of bacon, and to top it off, a perfectly toasted bun. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great atmosphere and even better food. 10/10!

I really like this place. The owner and staff are super friendly and they have a great restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere.... But the burgers... Although good.... Are not as great as I think they could be. The patties are not just meat and are mixed with other fillers which is very common in Japan but does not make for the best tasting burger or patty texture..

Good price quality ratio. They use high quality beef. The flavor is perfect and the meat to bun is also appropriate. Next time I will just get a burger no fries as they were not to my liking.

This place was awesome. It has a laid back retro atmosphere and excellent service. I ordered the Pineapple Bacon Cheeseburger and was very happy with it.

This place reminds me of a beach town burger joint you might see in Nags Head, North Carolina or Sarasota, Florida. It’s not fancy, but the food is tasty, fresh, and won’t break the bank, The staff is extremely friendly and let my date and I stay long past the closing time. I will certainly be back!

Tables were pretty small and the decorations were tacky. Food tasted good but there wasn’t anything particularly special about it. Not a bad spot but not a “must eat” in Okinawa.

We went to Gordie's last year and the food was very different from this visit. The burger meat was overcooked and almost rock hard. Their shake also has no ice cream in it, just blended ice and flavorings. Fries and onion rings were decent as well as the salad.
